Software Engineering Lead

<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>As a Software Engineering Lead, I expect you to design and implement the logic behind core applications, build APIs and microservices that handle data processing, business rules, and third-party integrations.</li><li>You will oversee the configuration and upkeep of secure, reliable server environments.</li><li>I will have you work closely with internal teams and customers to gather detailed requirements through meetings and workshops.</li><li>It's vital that you help shape the product vision and roadmap by offering technical insight and feasibility guidance while remaining hands-on with architecture and design.</li><li>I need you to be a technical leader who instills best practices, conducts code reviews, mentors team members, and collaboratively solves problems to help remove any blockers and deliver high-quality software.</li></ul>

<p>You will be joining a FinTech start-up within the consulting division of my Newcastle office, which has secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client as a partner. You will enjoy working in our brand-new Central Newcastle offices on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday), with working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and some flexibility offered.
