Infrastructure Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £34,000 - 34,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Maths (grade C/4 or above)</li><li>Relevant ICT industry certifications (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Level 3 ICT Diploma, or equivalent experience)</li><li>1–2 years delivering cloud migration projects, including planning, execution, and optimisation</li><li>Strong background in IT networking (WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi)</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Entra, Intune, Exchange) and Azure services</li><li>Experience managing user devices and management platforms such as EISnet and RMCC4</li><li>Familiarity with school MIS solutions (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom)</li><li>Expertise in Windows Server and virtualised environments</li><li>Experience supporting classroom technologies (touch panels, smartboards, projectors) and other school solutions</li><li>Conducting comprehensive site, cloud, and network surveys</li><li>Experience in IT Service Delivery and project-based environments</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and independently on complex tasks</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, logical troubleshooting, and resilience under pressure</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement</li><li>Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands</li><li>Customer-focused with a professional, solution-oriented approach</li><li>Attention to detail and quality standards</li><li>Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is desirable</li><li>Familiarity with ITIL, Service Desk Institute standards, and achieving SLA targets</li><li>Awareness of corporate policies, change management, procurement processes, and support procedures</li><li>Understanding of EIS products and services is advantageous</li></ul>

<ul><li>Delivering and supporting on-premises and cloud IT solutions across customer sites and remotely</li><li>Leading complex IT projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality standards</li><li>Providing expert advice on technical roadmaps, best practices, and service improvement opportunities</li><li>Conducting site, cloud, and network surveys to inform proposals and solutions</li><li>Delivering proactive and reactive IT support, including 3rd line escalation for complex issues</li><li>Troubleshooting advanced problems in networking, Windows Server, cloud platforms, and user devices</li><li>Supporting curriculum-based solutions and classroom technologies</li><li>Liaising with third-party suppliers and contractors to ensure effective service delivery</li><li>Highlighting IT risks and recommending mitigation steps in collaboration with the Lead Infrastructure Engineer and Team Manager</li><li>Documenting incidents, changes, and project progress accurately</li><li>Sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to a culture of learning</li><li>Completing mandatory training in Cyber Security, Risk Management, Data Protection, and cloud technologies</li><li>Undertaking any additional duties reasonably aligned to the role</li></ul>
