Software Development Team Lead
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>7 years of experience in a software development role in financial technology, specifically trading.</li><li>Proficient in C#, C++, SQL, .NET.</li><li>Experience as a line manager or mentor in technical roles.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, including management of Jira.</li><li>Strong technical mindset and a desire to be a product knowledge expert.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable speaking directly with customers.</li><li>Resilient with a positive attitude, able to persevere through challenging situations.</li><li>Educated to University level with a Bachelors Degree (or equivalent).</li><li>Preferred background in financial services, particularly in FX or Crypto trading.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Manage resources and projects across both the Development and QA functions.</li><li>Conduct performance management of direct reports, including regular 1-2-1s and annual appraisals.</li><li>Support individual team members in their professional development and skill acquisition.</li><li>Deliver monthly reports to the CEO/COO on departmental progress.</li><li>Collaborate with the head of client services to prioritize new fixes and features.</li><li>Ensure tracking tools such as Jira and TFS are utilized to the highest standards.</li><li>Contribute to the product roadmap.</li><li>Act as a point of internal escalation for the companys on-call support line alongside other management team members.</li><li>Actively develop products when needed, splitting time 20/80 between development and management responsibilities.</li></ul>
