Backend Software Engineer - Low Latency Trading

<p><b>Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Commercial Rust development experience</li><li>Strong backend OOP, multithreaded software engineering experience (e.g. C++, Java, Python)</li><li>Experience working on high throughput, low latency systems with microseconds/nanoseconds, within a finance or gaming environment</li><li>Good understanding of low-level system design, Operating Systems, Networking, Socket Level programming, hardware, compilers, FPGA</li><li>Achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science from a top tier university</li><li>Collaborative and pragmatic with great communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Some leadership or mentoring experience</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design and develop high throughput backend services for microsecond real-time risk, pricing, trading engines, and market making systems</li><li>Collaborate with a small, talented team to solve complex challenges</li><li>Work across the full software development lifecycle using Rust</li><li>Engage in problem-solving on challenging systems</li></ul>
