Systems Test Engineer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proficiency in system integration, hardware/software interfaces, and performance testing.</li><li>Ability with simulation software tools, modelling languages, and simulation platforms (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, RTOS).</li><li>Familiarity with industry standards and certifications (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).</li><li>Strong troubleshooting ability, root cause analysis, and system diagnostics.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving complex systems issues under tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of flight simulation systems such as FFS (Full Flight Simulators) or FTD (Flight Training Devices) is desirable.</li><li>Prior experience working directly with customers during system acceptance testing is highly desirable.</li><li>Certification or training in INCOSE Systems Engineering practices is a plus.</li><li>Exposure to agile or hybrid development methodologies is beneficial.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead the integration of various subsystems (hardware and software) into cohesive flight simulation systems.</li><li>Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement integration procedures.</li><li>Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions for seamless system performance.</li><li>Maintain and optimize system configurations for improved operational efficiency.</li><li>Define and execute test plans to verify system performance, functionality, and safety.</li><li>Ensure all systems meet regulatory standards and performance metrics for certification.</li><li>Create and conduct test procedures to validate flight simulation systems.</li><li>Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the acceptance phase.</li><li>Conduct customer-specific system tests and demonstrations for system readiness.</li><li>Provide technical support and training for ongoing system maintenance.</li></ul>
