ServiceNow Architect
<p><b>Salary: £29,500 - 33,500 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Typically 10 years of relevant experience in IT</li><li>Several years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow in configuration and architecture</li><li>Deep experience across multiple ServiceNow modules/workflows (ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC)</li><li>Strong integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and custom integrations</li><li>Understanding of data modeling, CMDB, metadata, core data, data governance, and security</li><li>Experience in defining and implementing technical governance and architecture operating models</li><li>Good knowledge of IT best practices and frameworks (ITIL, Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD practices)</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills for explaining technical designs to business stakeholders and writing architectural documentation</li><li>ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) typically required</li><li>Other relevant certifications like Certified Application Developer (CAD), CIS for relevant modules, or higher-level architecture credentials preferred</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand current-state processes and define future-state vision</li><li>Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions and technical architectures aligning with organizational strategic goals</li><li>Define roadmaps and solution intent/blueprints, translating business goals into architecture and technology decisions</li><li>Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, design patterns, and security standards</li><li>Manage or oversee integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, ensuring reliability and security</li><li>Establish and enforce architecture governance, performing code reviews and tracking technical debt</li><li>Mentor and lead junior architects, developers, and administrators to elevate team capabilities</li><li>Collaborate with enterprise architects/platform owners to define platform strategy including instance and environment strategy</li><li>Support presales and proposal efforts by scoping, estimating, and designing reference architectures</li><li>Participate in performance tuning, capacity planning, availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance</li><li>Stay updated on new ServiceNow features and trends, assessing applicability and recommending adoption</li></ul>
