<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Degree in Apparel Design, Textile/Garment Technology or related field.</li><li>Proven 3-5 years’ experience in product development within fashion or workwear sectors.</li><li>Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, and technical specifications.</li><li>Knowledge of performance fabrics and safety standards desirable.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD systems.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Commercial awareness and cost-conscious approach.</li><li>Collaborative team player with ability to work cross-functionally.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Create and translate design concepts into detailed workwear technical specifications using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.</li><li>Develop prototypes and samples, ensuring fit, functionality, and compliance with brand standards.</li><li>Conduct garment fittings and provide technical feedback to suppliers and factories.</li><li>Identify and source fabrics, trims, and components suitable for workwear requirements.</li><li>Manage lab-dips, trim developments, fabrics and monitor product quality throughout development stages.</li><li>Ensure materials meet durability, safety, and performance standards.</li><li>Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate interpretation of product requirements.</li><li>Ensure product compliance with relevant regulations and certifications (e.g. PPE standards for workwear).</li><li>Manage critical path timelines from concept to bulk production.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and product data.</li></ul>
