Data Architect
<p><b>Salary: £130,000 - 132,600 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, and large data lake (e.g., Snowflake MDH)</li><li>Experience with ETL tools, APIs, and data integration frameworks</li><li>Proficiency in data modeling and architecture design</li><li>Familiarity with insurance industry data (actuarial, investment, policy administration)</li><li>Understanding of regulatory requirements (Solvency II, ORSA)</li><li>Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills</li><li>Ability to work in a multi-vendor, cross-functional environment</li><li>8 years of experience in data architecture and integration projects (preferred)</li><li>Prior experience in BFSI or insurance domain (preferred)</li><li>SAP certifications in data integration or analytics (preferred)</li></ul>

<ul><li>Analyze existing data sources and document current ingestion processes</li><li>Identify gaps in automation and standardization</li><li>Assess completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data across domains</li><li>Develop a readiness scorecard for each data stream</li><li>Define source-to-target mappings for S/4HANA and SAC</li><li>Establish business transformation rules, validation logic, and exception handling procedures</li><li>Recommend ETL/MDH-based harmonization strategies</li><li>Evaluate the feasibility and benefits of introducing SAP Datasphere</li><li>Define scenarios where Datasphere can enhance decision-making and analytics</li><li>Ensure data architecture aligns with regulatory policies and internal governance</li><li>Define data ownership and stewardship models</li><li>Prepare functional specification documents for each data stream</li><li>Create integration architecture diagrams and a roadmap for automation</li></ul>
