IT Solutions Architect
<p><b>Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills</li><li>Ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and 3rd parties</li><li>Experience with technologies such as JavaScript, React, C# .NET, Python, SQL, APIs, Azure, Power Platform, SaaS, PaaS, and IaC</li><li>Exposure to and understanding of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, LLMs, Machine Learning, NLP, MCP)</li><li>Experience in architecture and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, C4, UML, TOGAF, Microsoft Well-Architected Framework, design patterns)</li><li>Experience using modern tools for delivery (e.g., Azure DevOps, LeanIX, Lucidchart, Figma, Balsamiq, M365)</li><li>Excellent understanding of public cloud hosted infrastructure and application integrations</li><li>Experience in building Minimum Viable Products (MVP) and working with product teams</li><li>Experience evaluating and working with SaaS products</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead the design and technical delivery of prototypes and digital products within an agile squad</li><li>Participate in the discovery of new opportunities, turning problem statements into business outcome-driven technical proposals</li><li>Solve problems using creative approaches and emerging technologies</li><li>Become a subject matter expert within an assigned business domain</li><li>Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Integration Architects, and Cloud Architects to build coherent systems within IT environments</li><li>Work alongside Business Analysts and UX Designers to gather and validate requirements, user journeys, and user experiences</li><li>Contribute to the growth of the IT Architecture function, ensuring it is recognized as a valuable asset at BDO</li><li>Adhere to technical, delivery, and service governance standards during solution design</li><li>Produce high-quality technical documentation and adhere to change processes</li></ul>
