Senior DevOps Systems Administrator
<p><b>Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>5 years experience in a DevOps or cloud infrastructure role</li><li>Strong hands-on AWS experience</li><li>Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Proxmox</li><li>Solid Linux administration skills</li><li>Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible)</li><li>Containerisation and orchestration experience (e.g. Kubernetes / EKS)</li><li>Scripting ability in Bash, Python, or Go</li><li>Good understanding of networking and cloud security concepts</li><li>AWS certifications (desirable)</li><li>Experience with container or infrastructure security tools (e.g. Trivy) (desirable)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure across AWS and private cloud platforms</li><li>Lead infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible</li><li>Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)</li><li>Implement monitoring and observability solutions to improve visibility and performance</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to enhance system reliability, resilience, and security</li><li>Manage hybrid networking, IAM, firewalls, and VPNs</li><li>Participate in an on-call rota and support incident response when required</li><li>Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to operational best practice</li></ul>
