Principal Architect
<p><b>Salary: £30,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Subject matter expertise in Merchandising areas (merchandise planning, price and markdown management, purchase order and inventory management, financial reconciliation, store allocations, etc.)</li><li>Experience in Merchandising & Planning ERP platforms like Oracle Retail, Infor, SAP IS Retail</li><li>Strong design & engineering experience; ability to design & document solutions that are appropriate to the problem at hand, ensuring simplicity, cost effectiveness, and maintainability</li><li>Experience in Architecture disciplines: standards, designs and patterns (application, integration, security, etc.), blueprints, roadmaps</li><li>Familiarity with application architecture & development fundamentals, e.g. Service Architecture, Agile, DevSecOps, Cloud, Non-Functional Requirements</li><li>Ability to partner effectively with key stakeholders to influence and gain consensus on Solutions/application architecture</li><li>Excellent communications and collaboration skills</li><li>Strong strategic and critical thinking skills</li><li>Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and adversity</li><li>Expertise in Oracle Retail MOM application and other custom Merch Operations platforms (desired)</li><li>Experience in defining Architecture Runway by analyzing requirements, documenting & reviewing Solution design options (desired)</li><li>Experience working in an agile delivery environment (desired)</li><li>Ability to learn and adapt quickly (desired)</li><li>10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Retail Merchandising ERP Systems (preferred)</li><li>Experience working in the Retail Industry implementing/enhancing Merchandising Systems (preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with modern application architecture, e.g. microservices, web/mobile app architecture, cloud-native app architecture (preferred)</li><li>Exposure to a variety of software stacks such as Oracle, PL-SQL and other relational databases (preferred)</li><li>Exposure to a variety of public cloud platforms like Azure/AWS PaaS services (preferred)</li></ul>

<ul><li>Support the Buying, Planning & Merchandising product teams to execute on a strategy to modernize our application ecosystem</li><li>Help deliver on critical new capabilities needed for the Global Merch Initiatives</li><li>Develop trusted stakeholder (IT & Business) relationships to deliver value in a dynamic environment</li><li>Collaborate with IT product teams to define strategy and architecture that addresses current and future business and technology needs</li><li>Enable the adoption of a modern technology foundation including Cloud, DevOps, Intelligent Automation, Robotics, AI/ML</li><li>Explore innovative technologies for future applications</li><li>Work across time zones and cultures as part of our global team</li></ul>
