Senior Infrastructure Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £34,000 - 56,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Microsoft and VMware Certifications</li><li>Agile Foundation & Practitioner Certifications</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Extensive experience of producing technical documentation to a high standard</li><li>Experience of working in security-cleared environments/working in Defence</li><li>Excellent knowledge of virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere</li><li>Excellent knowledge of VMware vSAN, NSX-T, and VCF</li><li>Excellent knowledge of locking down environments</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Windows Server environments, from design to implementation and support</li><li>Good knowledge of Tanzu Kubernetes, vSphere administration, and networking concepts</li><li>Good troubleshooting skills in VMware Cloud Foundation environments</li><li>Good general knowledge of Microsoft stack technologies such as MS SQL</li><li>Working knowledge of Linux system administration skills</li><li>Experience in the installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 workstations</li></ul>

<ul><li>Work across a range of diverse, complex, and secure systems</li><li>Lead or support infrastructure and application changes in an Agile environment</li><li>Deliver business value in a demanding and involved environment</li><li>Support the development and sustainment of a government portfolio of systems and services</li><li>Identify new and relevant technologies to solve problems and make improvements</li><li>Produce high-standard technical documentation</li><li>Coach and assist team members to grow their competencies</li><li>Maintain and support servers, workstations, laptops, network, and peripheral devices</li><li>Engage in occasional travel to other sites as required</li></ul>
