Principal Systems Engineer

<p><b>Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Degree level expertise in systems engineering, computer science, physics, or a similar technical discipline with post-degree experience (or equivalent)</li><li>Full professional membership of a relevant body or similar accreditation</li><li>Strong experience within Systems Engineering, Networks, and IT</li><li>Previous maritime experience is an advantage</li><li>Understanding of the Technical Assurance process</li><li>Knowledge of computer network architectures, protocols, and analysis including client/server, TCP/IP, UDP, NTP, and Wireshark</li><li>Eligibility to obtain UK security clearances</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead and manage a cross-technical team of systems engineers</li><li>Provide day-to-day management and strategic technical leadership</li><li>Shape and implement strategy to meet customer needs</li><li>Work on simulations and tools enabling effective performance of combat systems engineers</li><li>Combine hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities</li></ul>
