2nd Line Support Engineer
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Previous experience in an MSP or managed services environment.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 11 and Windows Server.</li><li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange and Active Directory.</li><li>Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and VPNs.</li><li>Confident supporting users remotely and explaining issues clearly.</li><li>Organised, methodical and comfortable managing multiple tickets.</li><li>Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.</li><li>Certifications are welcome but not essential.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Taking ownership of 2nd line support tickets and seeing them through to resolution.</li><li>Troubleshooting issues across Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and client infrastructure.</li><li>Supporting user environments, servers, backups and connectivity.</li><li>Responding to alerts raised by monitoring systems.</li><li>Providing remote support and attending client sites when required.</li><li>Documenting fixes and solutions clearly for future reference.</li><li>Working closely with other engineers to resolve complex or recurring issues.</li></ul>

<p>We are an established managed services provider based in Sheffield, looking for an experienced 2nd Line MSP Support Engineer to strengthen our service desk. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary between £26,000 and £30,000 depending on experience, alongside generous benefits including 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, a health scheme after one year, and dedicated time for training and development.
