Security Architect - South East London
<p><b>Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Candidates must hold SC level clearance and meet UK residency requirements</li><li>Prior and proven experience as a Security Architect or in a technical cyber role</li><li>Expertise in security legislation (GDPR, PCI DSS, ICO)</li><li>Knowledge of frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls v8)</li><li>Familiarity with HMG/NCSC policies and guidance</li><li>Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure)</li><li>Understanding of microservice architectures</li><li>Proficiency in PKI, Cryptography, Privileged Access Management</li><li>Relevant certifications: SABSA, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP, CISM (or working towards CIISEC/UK Cyber Security Council registration)</li><li>Strong analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Provide secure design advice from project discovery through to disposal</li><li>Ensure solutions align with security standards and architectural patterns</li><li>Promote Secure by Design principles to reduce information risk</li><li>Validate security controls and their effectiveness</li><li>Deliver security architecture for cloud deployments (private/public)</li><li>Design and scope IT Health Checks and interpret outcomes</li><li>Identify and mitigate security risks in solution architectures</li><li>Conduct threat modelling and risk analysis</li><li>Design proportional security controls using native cloud technologies</li><li>Produce security architecture artefacts including standards and blueprints</li></ul>
