Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse Developer
<p><b>Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent hands-on experience</li><li>Strong experience with BI and data warehouse technologies (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Snowflake, Qlik Talend Cloud or similar)</li><li>Solid experience working with SQL-based databases (MS SQL and/or Oracle)</li><li>Proven capability designing and maintaining ETL / ELT processes</li><li>Advanced SQL and/or PL/SQL skills</li><li>Experience working with data governance, quality, and gap analysis</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail</li><li>Confident communicator able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions</li><li>Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable data warehouse architectures, including schema and storage structures</li><li>Build and support ETL / ELT pipelines integrating data from multiple global source systems</li><li>Create and optimise dimensional data models to support analytics and reporting</li><li>Develop clean, analytics-ready datasets through complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions</li><li>Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality BI dashboards and reports, following UX and reporting best practices</li><li>Support forecasting and sales reporting systems as key data sources for BI</li><li>Monitor, tune, and maintain data warehouse and BI performance, including capacity planning</li><li>Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing system support</li><li>Work with third-party vendors where required to resolve technical issues</li><li>Produce and maintain technical documentation and support user training</li><li>Proactively identify opportunities to enhance BI capabilities and user experience</li></ul>
