Embedded Software Verification and Validation Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £124,800 - 145,600 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong experience of V&V activities in an embedded software environment.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Good documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to turn requirements into structured test cases and procedures.</li><li>Experience of working in a lab environment on an electro-mechanical product running embedded software.</li><li>Good working knowledge of the complete software engineering lifecycle.</li><li>Scripting abilities.</li><li>Embedded software development experience using Ada and/or C/C++.</li><li>Knowledge of safety-critical systems (advantageous).</li><li>Knowledge of standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C & DO-330 (advantageous).</li><li>Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems (advantageous).</li><li>Model Driven Design experience (advantageous).</li><li>Knowledge of test automation methods (advantageous).</li><li>Knowledge of DOORS, Engineering Workflow Management (EWM), Rapita Suite, Rhapsody, LDRA (advantageous).</li><li>Breakpoint Analysis experience (advantageous).</li><li>Experience of Focused Code Reviews (advantageous).</li></ul>

<ul><li>Conduct verification and validation activities on real-time systems application software for the next generation of Missile Systems.</li><li>Develop robust test cases derived from requirements.</li><li>Prepare and execute tests, capturing data accurately.</li><li>Deliver actionable feedback to project teams based on test results.</li><li>Utilize strong practical problem-solving skills and data acquisition expertise.</li><li>Adapt to evolving project needs throughout the development lifecycle.</li></ul>
