DevOps Engineer - eDV Cleared
<p><b>Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience in Java and JavaScript development, with a focus on cloud-native applications.</li><li>Good understanding of AWS services.</li><li>Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (Helm, ArgoCD).</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab, Concourse).</li><li>Knowledge of monitoring solutions (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Elasticsearch).</li><li>Experience in batch analytics and Python.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design and develop innovative cloud-native platforms and applications using AWS, data engineering, and CI/CD practices.</li><li>Implement and optimize Java, JavaScript, React, and other relevant technologies for full-stack applications.</li><li>Contribute to batch analytics, Python, and data engineering efforts.</li><li>Ensure platform and application resilience through effective monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, and Elasticsearch.</li><li>Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.</li><li>Apply SRE principles to improve system reliability and performance.</li></ul>
