Cloud Platform Network Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and cloud infrastructure</li><li>Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and firewall principles</li><li>Experience with Azure networking services such as Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Network Watcher, Firewall and WAF</li><li>Practical experience with Terraform, Azure CLI and PowerShell</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Current and valid SC Clearance is essential</li><li>Azure Network Engineer certification (preferred)</li><li>Experience with Zscaler, Okta or CI/CD practices (preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools (preferred)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design and implement Azure networking solutions including VNets, VPN Gateways, NSGs, Azure Firewall and WAF</li><li>Support hub-and-spoke topologies and hybrid connectivity</li><li>Monitor and optimise network performance across cloud and on-premise environments</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues quickly and effectively</li><li>Automate network configuration using Terraform, PowerShell and Azure CLI</li><li>Maintain observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Network Watcher</li><li>Ensure deployments align with security and compliance standards</li><li>Produce technical documentation and support knowledge sharing</li></ul>
