Payments Solutions Architect
<p><b>Salary: £121,500 - 126,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>8 years of experience in payments execution processing</li><li>Strong payments scheme knowledge (Bacs, Faster Payments, CHAPS, SWIFT, SEPA, cheques)</li><li>Deep understanding of ISO 20022, including message structure, data modeling, and mapping</li><li>Significant experience as a Solution Architect in complex financial services environments</li><li>Ability to produce clear functional architecture and design logical components</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities</li><li>Practical, delivery-focused mindset</li><li>Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment</li><li>Evidence of thought leadership and initiative</li><li>Knowledge of BIAN, TOGAF, ArchiMate, or C4 (desirable but not mandatory)</li><li>Experience with Avolution Abacus or similar architecture tools (desirable but not mandatory)</li><li>Familiarity with microservices, API integration patterns, and cloud concepts (desirable but not mandatory)</li><li>Exposure to global banking environments or large-scale payment transformations (desirable but not mandatory)</li></ul>
