GCP Data Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £52,000 - 85,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience in designing and developing data processing modules with Big Query and Tableau</li><li>Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and management</li><li>Proficiency in GCP (Google Cloud Platform)</li><li>Experience working with data scientists and engineers</li><li>Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance and actuaries</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Knowledge of data quality, governance, and compliance standards</li><li>Excellent documentation skills</li><li>Familiarity with MLOps practices</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design and develop complex data processing modules and reporting using Big Query and Tableau</li><li>Collaborate with the Infrastructure/Platform Team to architect and operate the Data Analytics platform</li><li>Work with business teams, data scientists, and engineers to develop and maintain data pipelines</li><li>Engage with finance and actuaries to optimize usage of internal and external data sources</li><li>Ensure robustness of design and engineering of data models and reporting</li><li>Manage business-as-usual (BAU) ownership of data models and reporting integrations</li><li>Create frameworks and systems for managing and governing data assets</li><li>Produce detailed documentation for ongoing support and maintenance of data structures</li><li>Collaborate with the Engineering community to enhance MLOps capabilities</li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure reliability and accuracy</li></ul>
