KDB Developer
<p><b>Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Several years of commercial experience in data engineering and analytics development in a similar high-performance environment</li><li>Strong KDB/q development skills (core focus)</li><li>Solid Linux engineering experience, including awareness of low-level networking and kernel-level understanding</li><li>Knowledge of large-scale storage systems, data distribution, and resilience/failover strategies</li><li>Familiarity configuring and operating AWS services and Kubernetes-based infrastructure</li><li>Experience working with Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 market data feeds</li><li>Background in big data performance tuning, analytical workflows, and data visualization</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Build and improve analytics capabilities to provide clearer visibility across new and existing business areas</li><li>Develop scalable data pipelines to capture, clean, and store high-volume datasets from internal trading platforms and external market data feeds</li><li>Create and refine efficient data-access frameworks to support live dashboards, execution performance analysis, and market microstructure research</li><li>Design and implement complex event processing (CEP) workflows to detect data issues in real-time and generate actionable signals</li><li>Diagnose problems and continuously strengthen platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency</li><li>Contribute across the full software development lifecycle from initial research and prototyping through delivery, testing, deployment, and ongoing support</li></ul>
