Automation Service Support Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years experience in control systems</li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical switchgear and motor control design</li><li>Proven experience with Siemens TIA and Step 7 PLC programming</li><li>HMI configuration (Siemens WinCC, Flexible HMI) experience</li><li>Proficiency in fault finding and troubleshooting automation software and hardware</li><li>Familiarity with process instrumentation and control systems</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Provide remote technical support to customers for legacy equipment</li><li>Diagnose faults and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, control, and instrumentation issues</li><li>Assist Customer Service Managers and SMEs with technical advice on equipment upgrades and enhancements</li><li>Prepare and present technical quotations for equipment upgrades</li><li>Interface directly with customers in a professional, technical capacity</li><li>Collaborate with the project team on control system design, commissioning, and customer support activities</li></ul>
