Hardware Engineering Manager

<ul><li>Proven experience in hardware engineering within a product-based environment</li><li>Strong understanding of PCB design, embedded systems, and manufacturing</li><li>Experience working directly with factories and component suppliers</li><li>Confidence making technical decisions with commercial and operational impact</li><li>Exposure to full hardware product lifecycles, not just early-stage design</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Ownership of electronic hardware delivery across multiple products</li><li>PCB design oversight, component selection, and BOM ownership</li><li>Applying DFM / DFA principles to enable reliable, cost-effective manufacturing</li><li>Managing manufacturing partners, PCB fabs, and tooling suppliers</li><li>Handling pilot builds, yield analysis, and production issue resolution</li><li>Managing component lifecycle and EOL risk</li><li>Supporting firmware integration and hardware/firmware alignment</li><li>Ensuring compliance with CE, UKCA, EMC, and safety standards</li><li>Leading, mentoring, and developing Electronics Engineers</li><li>Setting hardware standards, processes, and long-term technical direction</li></ul>
