Technical Design Authority - UC Voice
<p><b>Salary: £24,500 - 42,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Unified Communications, or related field; Masters preferred</li><li>Minimum 5 years CUCM voice experience with design, implementation, architecture, and third-party call routing support</li><li>Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are desirable</li><li>Strong UC Voice skills across IPTrade, Voice Recording, Cisco UC Servers, HP Servers, VMware, CIMC, iLO, Windows, CDR, NAS, and VEEAM</li><li>Knowledge of SIP, G711alaw, Cisco CUBE, gateways, and modems</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Shape the networking landscape for key customers by defining design direction</li><li>Conduct design reviews and support implementation of networking solutions</li><li>Maintain documented solutions that protect digital assets and ensure system integrity, confidentiality, and availability</li><li>Govern UC Voice architecture and lead technical delivery</li><li>Manage risks and ensure compliance with relevant standards</li><li>Translate requirements into effective strategies for system implementation</li><li>Drive continuous improvement and create test plans</li><li>Run Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and conduct testing</li><li>Document standards and deliver training for team members</li><li>Travel for testing and implementation as needed</li><li>Provide reporting to support system performance and security</li></ul>
