SAS Lead Analyst

<p><b>Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Expert in SAS and SQL</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and project management skills</li><li>Proven experience in SAS platform migrations (preferably from Cloudera to AWS)</li><li>AWS exposure</li><li>Understanding of Cloudera ecosystem (Hive, HDFS)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead SAS migration activities from Cloudera (HDFS/Hive) to AWS</li><li>Oversee reconfiguration of SAS servers, metadata, libraries, and connection points</li><li>Understand and redesign SAS jobs referencing HDFS/Hive to AWS equivalents</li><li>Manage prioritization, planning, and progress tracking for 1000 SAS jobs</li><li>Collaborate with business SMEs for coordinated testing and sign-offs</li><li>Validate SQL compatibility and output consistency between Cloudera and AWS</li><li>Provide technical guidance and ensure smooth issue resolution</li><li>Engage with senior stakeholders and provide migration status reporting</li><li>Mentor onsite/offshore SAS engineers</li></ul>
