Senior IT Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>4–5 years experience in a similar senior IT/networking role</li><li>Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships</li><li>Cisco routers and switches expertise</li><li>TCP/IP networking, routing, and IT security knowledge</li><li>Firewall configuration, management, and reporting (Fortinet)</li><li>Windows Server administration skills</li><li>Virtualisation experience (Hyper-V, clustering)</li><li>Active Directory & Azure AD proficiency</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft technologies: Azure, Office 365, Intune</li><li>Support experience with Windows 10/11 and Apple devices (MDM: Intune, Apple, Meraki)</li><li>Backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring knowledge</li><li>Microsoft SQL Server experience (advantageous)</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to commute to and work from the Fyfield office</li></ul>

<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network solutions</li><li>Configure, manage, and support firewalls (Fortinet) and Cisco networking equipment</li><li>Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and manage capacity planning</li><li>Ensure systems are monitored, backed up, patched, and secure</li><li>Lead and manage network projects and upgrades</li><li>Provide on-site and remote end-user support where required</li><li>Maintain high-quality documentation, diagrams, and reports (WUG, SolarWinds, IT Glue)</li><li>Support and mentor junior engineers and coordinate field engineers</li><li>Work closely with senior management and other teams to deliver projects on time</li></ul>
