Cloud Architect
<p><b>Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, Senior Cloud Engineer, or similar technical leadership role</li><li>Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure (GCP experience is beneficial)</li><li>Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale enterprise cloud solutions</li><li>Solid understanding of cloud security architecture and secure design principles</li><li>Experience leading cloud migration, modernisation, or hybrid cloud initiatives</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Ability to lead technical decision-making and mentor engineers</li><li>UK National (eligible for MOD DV security clearance sponsorship available)</li><li>Desirable: Experience with DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)</li><li>Knowledge of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)</li><li>Experience working in regulated or government environments</li><li>Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, CCSP, CISSP, etc.)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead the design, implementation and optimisation of secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments</li><li>Own end-to-end cloud security architecture, controls, and best practices</li><li>Work closely with customer technical and operational teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust cloud solutions</li><li>Lead architectural discussions, technical workshops, and design authority sessions</li><li>Deliver solutions across both greenfield and brownfield cloud transformation projects</li><li>Define and guide cloud migration strategies and modernisation programmes</li><li>Provide expert input on cloud resilience, scalability, performance and operational excellence</li><li>Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders and client leadership teams</li></ul>
