Data Centre Asset Lead
<p><b>Salary: £30,000 - 70,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience in IT asset management and governance</li><li>Strong understanding of lab environment operations and compliance standards</li><li>Knowledge of asset life cycle management, including allocation and decommissioning</li><li>Familiarity with financial management processes relating to IT assets</li><li>Experience with supplier hardware management platforms (e.g., Lenovo xClarity, Dell OEM tools, HPE Compute Ops Management)</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors</li></ul>

<ul><li>Maintain complete and accurate records of all hardware and software assets across test lab environments</li><li>Oversee the full asset life cycle, including allocation, reuse, and secure decommissioning</li><li>Ensure all lab usage is linked to approved funding, projects, or Clarity demands</li><li>Manage governance of environment and console access, ensuring permissions are approved, monitored, and removed when no longer required</li><li>Act as the primary point of coordination between lab teams, delivery programmes, PMO, finance, and vendors</li><li>Provide operational oversight and reporting to support audit, risk, and compliance requirements</li><li>Apply and operate within established enterprise governance and control frameworks</li></ul>

<p>We are seeking an IT Lab Environment & Asset Lead to take ownership of the governance and operational control of our clients IT lab environment in Yorkshire. This role is critical to ensuring lab assets, access, and usage are tightly managed and fully auditable. You will work closely with delivery teams, PMO, finance, and external suppliers to enable stable environments that support programme delivery while maintaining strong operational discipline. We offer a collaborative and supportive team setting with a focus on compliance and enablement.</p>
