Solution Architect
<p><b>Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Multiple years experience in solution architecture, design, or technical leadership roles, with a track record of delivering business-focused technology solutions</li><li>Experience of working within logistics, heavy industry or businesses with significant physical assets (e.g. freight, oil & gas, shipping, aviation, engineering etc)</li><li>Strong experience aligning technology strategies with business objectives in complex, multi-system environments</li><li>Expertise in SAAS, integration design, and scalable architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs, event-driven models)</li><li>Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and explain complex architectural concepts in business-relevant terms</li><li>Deep understanding of application lifecycle and broad understanding of cloud platforms (not a cloud architecture position)</li><li>Familiarity with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) and modelling tools</li></ul>

<ul><li>Oversee the design of systems and applications across the enterprise</li><li>Regularly review the application portfolio to maximise value, reduce complexity, and ensure agility</li><li>Work closely with senior architecture leadership to translate strategic business objectives into scalable architectural solutions</li><li>Partner with business and product leaders to enhance business capability, value delivery, and time-to-market</li><li>Identify technology enablers for business innovation, operational excellence, and digital transformation</li><li>Provide architectural oversight on key projects to ensure solutions are well-designed, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise strategy</li><li>Champion standardisation and reuse across the solution landscape to reduce redundancy and increase agility</li><li>Contribute to defining and enforcing architectural principles, technology standards, and design patterns</li><li>Lead architectural governance forums to review and approve solution designs</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure architectural solutions are practical, understandable, and outcome-driven</li></ul>
