Visualisation Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £99,000 - 99,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>10 years in dashboard creation and development, with strong command of Tableau, operating in AI/data environments</li><li>Extensive experience in advanced SQL for data manipulation and transformation in complex datasets</li><li>Professional background as a BI Developer, Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role involving dashboard development</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams</li><li>Proven ability to integrate quickly into new teams and deliver immediate value</li><li>(Preferred) Experience with Python for data processing or automation</li><li>(Preferred) Strong knowledge of API integration</li><li>(Preferred) Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Typescript, etc)</li><li>(Preferred) Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred); familiarity with scalable deployment and integration</li><li>Familiarity with airline or logistics data domains is a plus</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Rapid prototyping: Design, develop and deliver user-friendly, visually compelling and robust dashboards using Tableau to meet urgent business needs</li><li>Robust engineering: Architect and build production-grade, reusable dashboard solutions using modern frontend technologies, integrating with enterprise APIs and data sources</li><li>Data transformation: Execute complex data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation tasks, primarily with SQL, to prepare datasets for dashboard usage</li><li>Data processing: Use SQL and Python for data processing and analytics workflows</li><li>Scalability & performance: Ensure solutions are modular, performant, and scalable across OpCos, with CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native deployment</li><li>Operational integration: Embed visualisations into BA workflows, enabling real-time decision-making and measurable impact</li><li>Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into tech specifications and validate results</li><li>Collaboration: Communicate with Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure cohesive solutions deliver high-quality outputs</li><li>Multi-OpCo deployment: Design for interoperability and reusability across BA, Aer Lingus, Iberia, Vueling, etc.</li><li>Stakeholder engagement: Translate business requirements into impactful visual experiences; drive adoption and continuous improvement</li></ul>

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of renewal, where you will have the opportunity to design and build enterprise-grade visualisations for British Airways and other operational companies. Our role demands a consultancy-level frontend engineering expertise, with a focus on rapid prototyping and robust engineering standards. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring that our solutions scale effectively and deliver real-time decision-making support. Our team values communication and collaboration, and international travel will be required once a month for this role.</p>
