Lead Software Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>5 years software development experience</li><li>2 years experience with both C# and C</li><li>1 year managing a software team using Agile methodologies</li><li>Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git/SVN)</li><li>Experience developing C applications in Linux using makefiles and GCC</li><li>Strong experience with Visual Studio IDEs</li><li>Experience developing WPF applications for Windows</li><li>Firmware programming experience (or willingness to learn)</li><li>Microprocessor C programming</li><li>Device communications via USB, Serial, or Ethernet</li><li>Experience with multi-project solutions in Visual Studio</li><li>Image processing knowledge</li><li>Exposure to IT systems, business systems, or website support</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead and manage the Software Team within an Agile development environment</li><li>Deliver software across the full SDLC, from concept through to release and support</li><li>Design, develop, and test new functionality for Linkams software platforms</li><li>Maintain and improve existing and legacy software products</li><li>Ensure solutions are well-structured, testable, and production-ready</li><li>Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software bugs</li><li>Support customer technical queries where required</li><li>Deliver projects in line with agreed schedules and business priorities</li></ul>
