Technical Assessment Lead
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Significant hands-on experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Engineer in modern full-stack environments (e.g., .NET, React, Java, Python).</li><li>Proven track record of scaling teams and making high-quality technical hiring decisions.</li><li>Deep knowledge of software architecture, clean code principles, and maintainable systems.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Comfortable leading interviews and assessing both technical depth and soft skills.</li><li>Experience in consultancy or client-facing environments (desirable).</li><li>Prior involvement in designing or running large-scale technical assessment processes (desirable).</li><li>Familiarity with inclusive hiring practices and building diverse teams (desirable).</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Conduct in-depth technical assessments and code reviews for engineering candidates.</li><li>Lead technical interviews focused on software design, coding quality, systems thinking, and consultancy skills.</li><li>Develop and maintain high-quality assessment frameworks and rubrics.</li><li>Ensure assessment processes are fair, inclusive, and consistently applied across interviewers.</li><li>Act as a trusted decision-maker in hiring panels, helping to shape the future of the practice.</li><li>Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Engineering leadership to improve hiring efficiency.</li><li>Coach and support interviewers across the practice to raise assessment quality and confidence.</li><li>Monitor and advise on the effectiveness of technical testing environments and candidate experience.</li><li>Champion the importance of engineering craft and a consultancy mindset in all hiring decisions.</li><li>Identify and help remove process bottlenecks that impact assessment throughput.</li><li>Stay current with industry trends in technical hiring and bring insights into the team.</li><li>Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and values-led hiring.</li></ul>
