Senior Data Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong SQL & Python skills</li><li>Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Matillion, Talend, FiveTran, Azure Data Factory)</li><li>Experience designing and managing cloud data platforms (Snowflake essential; AWS/Azure/GCP desirable)</li><li>Solid data modelling knowledge and performance optimisation skills</li><li>Awareness of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance</li><li>Ability to work closely with technical and business teams to deliver impactful solutions</li><li>Nice-to-Haves:</li><li>Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, Prefect) or streaming frameworks (Kafka, Kinesis)</li><li>CI/CD experience and DevOps practices for data workflows</li><li>Exposure to data visualisation platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, MicroStrategy)</li><li>Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries</li></ul>
