SAP BTP Lead
<p><b>Salary: £35,000 - 75,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP services: Integration Suite, SAP Build Apps/Process Automation, Event Mesh, AI Core, and Cloud Foundry/Kyma.</li><li>Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, extensibility models, and clean-core principles.</li><li>Expertise in API design, integration technologies, and cloud development (CAP, RAP, Node.js, Java).</li><li>Knowledge of identity and access management (IAS/IPS, OAuth, XSUAA) and security best practices.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD, Git, deployment automation, and cloud operations.</li><li>Proven leadership, mentoring experience, and strong communication skills.</li><li>SAP certifications in BTP, Integration Suite, or related domains are preferred.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead architecture, design, and implementation of solutions using SAP BTP services such as SAP Build, Integration Suite, Event Mesh, AI Core, and HANA Cloud.</li><li>Define clean-core extensibility strategies for S/4HANA and SAP cloud applications.</li><li>Guide teams in building custom apps, workflows, automations, and side-by-side extensions using CAP/RAP and low-code tools.</li><li>Own integration and API strategies leveraging BTP Integration Suite (APIs, OData, REST/SOAP, event-driven patterns).</li><li>Provide technical leadership, mentoring developers and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.</li><li>Manage BTP governance including subaccount design, entitlements, security, cost optimization, and DevOps/transport processes.</li><li>Collaborate with business analysts, enterprise architects, and leadership to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.</li><li>Evaluate emerging SAP technologies (GenAI, Build Code, Event Mesh, etc.) and deliver PoCs to demonstrate business value.</li><li>Support presales activities including solutioning, demos, estimations, and proposal development.</li></ul>
