<p><b>Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Degree or equivalent experience in a technical ICT based discipline and extensive relevant experience in cloud, development, application, integration and/or data development</li><li>Extensive Azure IaaS and PaaS solution management, tooling, automation, scripting, and implementation experience</li><li>Extensive Intune and Autopilot solution management and implementation experience</li><li>Extensive knowledge of tools and languages associated with cloud platform development like Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep), source control (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps), scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Bash), and handling file formats (e.g. YAML, JSON)</li><li>Exposure to containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous</li><li>Experience leading and working with technical and expert staff in professional and matrix structures</li><li>Strong analytic, visualisation, and communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements</li><li>Understanding and experience in AGILE software development and ITIL support & service frameworks</li><li>Broad and deep knowledge of complex heterogeneous systems and environments</li><li>Commitment to remaining technically competent in emerging technologies</li><li>Welsh Language Level A1 or willingness to obtain this level during employment</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead and be accountable for the implementation of solution designs, architecture, and strategic technical building blocks of NRWs Microsoft services across Azure PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS</li><li>Direct, oversee, coordinate and action Azure implementation and configuration work packages</li><li>Act as a technical authority and escalation point for other lines of service, participating in major incident management and mentoring</li><li>Collaborate with the Principal Architect to create and maintain NRW ICT principles, blueprints, reference designs, and artefacts</li><li>Engage in strategic discussions with senior ICT members, assisting in the development of portfolio services</li><li>Stay technically competent in rapidly emerging Cloud technologies and ensure timely transition to new versions of services</li><li>Ensure all implementations meet security best practices and policies, addressing concerns proactively with the Security Team</li><li>Work with NRW developers, PMs, BAs, support teams, and stakeholders to ensure solution quality</li><li>Develop and maintain low level designs, supporting documentation, knowledge bases, and wikis</li><li>Undertake health and safety duties relevant to the position</li><li>Commit to Natural Resources Wales Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy</li><li>Engage in personal development through the effective use of a personal development plan</li><li>Perform other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with the grade of the role</li></ul>
