IT Data Centre Infrastructure Analyst
<p><b>Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field</li><li>Strong under pressure, meets KPIs, and communicates effectively</li><li>Experience with server installation, administration, and troubleshooting</li><li>Basic knowledge of hypervisors and virtualization</li><li>Aware of Data Centre standards and best practices</li><li>Effective time management</li><li>Ability to meet strict deadlines and targets</li><li>Ability to work individually as well as within a team</li><li>Must be willing to travel to other global group sites when required</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Perform routine operations and monitoring of hardware and software systems</li><li>Record all actions using ITSM tools and follow standard procedures</li><li>Manage and troubleshoot all systems in the responsible area</li><li>Manage and resolve incidents, requests, and problems within SLAs or escalate as needed</li><li>Keep tickets regularly updated</li><li>Implement changes per change management processes</li><li>Execute installations, updates, and decommissions per technical standards</li><li>Investigate and resolve issues not meeting design or business goals</li><li>Maintain and update standard OS builds</li><li>Document technical processes</li><li>Manage and monitor Data Centre facilities</li><li>Attend regular inspections and audits</li><li>Ensure proper racking and structured cabling per standards</li><li>Maintain accurate rack diagrams and cable labeling</li></ul>
