Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Node.js, AWS
<p><b>Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Senior engineering leadership experience gained within smaller companies where the environment is fast-moving</li><li>Experience of architecting modern web platforms with Node.js backend development, AWS infrastructure, Linux and containerized applications such as Docker</li><li>Familiarity with PHP/WordPress to understand the current platform</li><li>Python skills, especially for AI/data/automation use cases would be beneficial</li><li>Practical experience of implementing AI features, with an understanding of LLMs, prompt design, vector search, knowledge graphs, etc. would be advantageous</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Guide the company through a major digital transformation, including a full redesign/redevelopment of core platforms and product ecosystem</li><li>Translate business vision and product requirements into a clear technical strategy</li><li>Own the end-to-end digital roadmap for the new digital platform</li><li>Advise on platform architecture, tooling, and technology</li><li>Lead and line-manage the development team through the greenfield rebuild of the platform</li></ul>
