IT Technician
<p><b>Salary: £42,000 - 68,500 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proficient in Windows 10 and 11 OS deployment and support within an Active Directory environment</li><li>Experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting</li><li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Office 365 suite</li><li>Skilled in Microsoft Active Directory user account management</li><li>Understanding of NTFS permissions, local and Group Policy Object (GPO) security policies</li><li>Hardware expertise including board-level support and configuration for desktops and laptops</li><li>Experience supporting PC peripherals, such as printers</li><li>Solid foundation in networking technologies including TCP/IP, 802.1X, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS</li><li>Awareness of Information Security best practices and conceptual understanding of antivirus, URL filtering, and spam identification</li><li>Familiarity with business audio-visual systems like projectors and conferencing solutions</li><li>Knowledge of backup methodologies and availability monitoring tools</li><li>Flexibility to occasionally visit onshore terminals and offshore installations for project tasks</li><li>Commitment to ongoing training and skill development to stay current with technological and business changes</li><li>Strong personal integrity and reliability in a fast-changing environment</li></ul>

<ul><li>Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to ensure smooth operations</li><li>Configure new systems to support IT infrastructure requirements</li><li>Collaborate within a team to enhance IT support services</li><li>Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure for both onshore offices and offshore installations</li><li>Provide technical assistance to users and support PC peripherals</li><li>Implement and manage security policies and permissions in Active Directory</li><li>Assist with the deployment and support of Windows operating systems</li><li>Utilize Microsoft PowerShell for scripting tasks related to IT tasks</li><li>Stay updated with emerging IT technologies and best practices</li><li>Support backup and availability monitoring processes as necessary</li></ul>
