Lead Engineer, Infrastructure
<p><b>Salary: £36,000 - 46,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Vmware, Hyper-V, DNS, Active Directory etc</li><li>Holds the relevant specified/designated Licences/certifications</li><li>Computer literate, competent with MS Office suite, Word, Excel, etc</li><li>Fully competent knowledge of the quality standards and processes and regulatory requirements applicable to the designated discipline/business area.</li><li>Competent in people management</li><li>Competent all-round verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Customer focused and able to deal with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>A passion for solving problems and providing workable solutions</li><li>Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes</li><li>Commercially aware</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead and motivate the infrastructure engineering team to create ideas for new products or services</li><li>Draw up plans for new designs and deliver products and/or services</li><li>Set priorities for the team to ensure task or project completion</li><li>Coordinate work activities with other supervisors across projects</li><li>Oversee the realization of infrastructure ideas from initial design through to production, testing, and installation</li><li>Draw up detailed technical plans for ideas and concepts</li><li>Use mathematical and scientific skills to create workable, real-world solutions</li><li>Provide leadership and direction on appropriate materials for new products or systems</li><li>Ensure accurate cost analysis forecasts for projects</li><li>Complete required technical and regulatory documents</li><li>Provide technical oversight on quality-control tests and oversee construction, manufacture, development, and deployment</li></ul>
