Cloud Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with AWS and a desire to stay current with new services</li><li>Proven experience using Infrastructure as Code</li><li>Good understanding of networking and software-defined networking in the cloud</li><li>Experience with container orchestration technologies</li><li>Comfortable scripting in at least one language (e.g. Python, Bash or Go)</li><li>AWS certifications are beneficial but not essential; training and certification support is available</li><li>Enjoy working in collaborative, delivery-focused teams</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Designing and implementing cloud-native architectures, primarily on AWS</li><li>Building and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK)</li><li>Creating and managing secure cloud environments and deployment pipelines</li><li>Working with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef</li><li>Supporting containerised platforms using Kubernetes, ECS or similar</li><li>Applying cloud security best practices and working closely with development teams</li><li>Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions</li><li>Contributing reusable patterns, standards and automation to projects</li></ul>
