Senior AI & Automation Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £39,000 - 79,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Demonstrable experience in core engineering</li><li>Proficiency in writing and maintaining production-quality code (e.g. Python, C#)</li><li>Experience designing and consuming REST APIs</li><li>Familiarity with Git-based workflows and DevOps-led development</li><li>Knowledge in cloud services, specifically in deploying and running services in Azure</li><li>Experience using managed services (e.g. App Services, Functions, containers)</li><li>Experience owning CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)</li><li>Ability to manage environments, secrets, and configurations securely</li><li>Knowledge in balancing cost, performance, and reliability</li><li>Experience working with Azure OpenAI APIs</li><li>Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and embeddings</li><li>Understanding of guardrails, rate limiting, and failure handling</li><li>Experience integrating AI into existing enterprise systems</li><li>Ability to automate end-to-end workflows, especially with legacy systems</li><li>Understanding of security, permissions, and data sensitivity in regulated environments</li><li>Background in consultancy, scale-up, or internal transformation in a larger organization</li></ul>
