Lead SOAR Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience in cybersecurity, focusing on SOAR, security automation, and engineering along with a broader understanding of security domains, including incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.</li><li>Hands-on experience with GenAI and Agentic Frameworks in security automation.</li><li>Leadership experience in designing and implementing SOAR solutions at scale.</li><li>Familiarity with SIEM and SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, Google Secops, Google Chronicle, Tines.io).</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Python and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).</li><li>Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced SOAR playbooks and automation workflows, mentoring and guiding SOAR Engineers and wider cross-functional team members through the process.</li><li>Architect intelligent automation solutions using GenAI and Agentic Frameworks to enhance decision-making and response capabilities.</li><li>Drive Agile CI/CD practices to ensure rapid, secure, and reliable delivery of automation features.</li><li>Collaborate with SOC, threat detection, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and align with strategic security goals.</li><li>Develop and maintain custom Python scripts and tools for orchestration, enrichment, and integration.</li><li>Ensure seamless interoperability between SOAR platforms, case management systems, and other security tools.</li><li>Contribute to security architecture reviews, automation strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul>
