Backend .NET Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>3 years experience developing backend solutions with C# / .NET</li><li>Strong experience working with SQL Server and database-driven systems</li><li>Experience building integrations and extensions using Dynamics 365 F&O (desirable)</li><li>Solid knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based architectures</li><li>Understanding of event-driven systems, messaging, and caching technologies</li><li>Experience working in agile environments (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions</li><li>A proactive problem-solver who enjoys working on complex systems</li><li>Desirable (but not essential) CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines)</li><li>Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or Event Grid</li><li>Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)</li><li>Experience with data tooling such as Azure Data Factory or Synapse</li><li>Oracle PL/SQL experience</li></ul>

<ul><li>Design, develop, and implement backend solutions using C#, .NET, and SQL</li><li>Build and extend integrations around Dynamics 365 F&O and the wider Microsoft platform</li><li>Develop services and applications using Azure (Functions, Storage, Event Grid, Service Bus, etc.)</li><li>Design and optimise relational database solutions using SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures)</li><li>Contribute to microservices, API-first, and event-driven architectures</li><li>Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices</li><li>Produce and maintain technical documentation and design specifications</li><li>Mentor and support other engineers across the team</li><li>Support existing business-critical systems during platform transition</li></ul>

We are looking to hire a Senior Backend Engineer to play a key role in the design and delivery of enterprise-scale systems built on the Microsoft stack. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced engineering environment where youll work on high-impact platforms supporting complex, automated logistics and supply chain operations. Our role offers hybrid working with 3 days onsite in Mansfield and 2 days from home. We welcome applications from individuals who have the right to work in the UK.</p>
