DevOps Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience working in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role</li><li>Strong knowledge of Linux and working knowledge of Windows</li><li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Experience deploying and operating applications in the cloud</li><li>Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based workloads</li><li>Experience with Git-based workflows</li><li>Scripting experience using Shell / Bash and/or PowerShell</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and incident management practices</li><li>Experience with GitOps tooling (Argo CD) (desirable)</li><li>Experience with Bamboo and Bitbucket (desirable)</li><li>Knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL operations (desirable)</li><li>Experience operating OpenSearch or similar logging platforms (desirable)</li><li>Understanding of cloud security and access control (RBAC, secrets) (desirable)</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Build, maintain, and operate cloud-based infrastructure supporting production and non-production environments</li><li>Administer and support Linux and Windows-based systems</li><li>Contribute to infrastructure design with a focus on availability, scalability, and security</li><li>Design, implement, and maintain CI pipelines for on-premise and cloud-hosted applications</li><li>Support and improve CD and GitOps workflows using tools such as Argo CD</li><li>Maintain and optimise build infrastructure and build agents</li><li>Deploy, operate, and support Kubernetes application deployments, services, ingress, and configuration</li><li>Troubleshoot Kubernetes and container-related issues in production environments</li><li>Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions</li><li>Support operational aspects of platforms such as: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, OpenSearch</li></ul>
