UX Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £63,000 - 82,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Significant experience in modern React / Next.js development</li><li>Strong understanding and working experience leading UX and UI activities in an ecommerce/retail environment (B2B or B2C)</li><li>Substantial experience across the feature development lifecycle, contributing to UX, Solutioning, and Build</li><li>Experience contributing to and implementing process improvements and best practices for both UX and front-end development</li><li>Self-directed and collaborative working style, able to define clear features from broad requirements</li><li>Experience with mockups within Figma and a grasp of basic design principles</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Refine and implement the approach to front-end development across the platform</li><li>Collaboratively refine the approach to UX within the feature lifecycle</li><li>Own and mature our front-end architecture in collaboration with the Head of Technology</li><li>Work with product and development team members to co-devise new capabilities and incrementally improve existing features</li><li>Lead front-end development based on React / Next.js, closely coordinating with the back-end team</li><li>Collaborate with Product Designers, translating designs into responsive, accessible, and performant front-end code</li><li>Contribute to and help maintain our design system and component libraries</li></ul>
