Head of Digital Design

<p><b>Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience as a leader in User Centered Design</li><li>Experience managing User Centered Design professionals (Service Designers, Interaction Designers, UX Designers)</li><li>Experience mentoring junior designers across a wide range of design disciplines</li><li>Extensive hands-on experience delivering User Centered Design projects</li><li>Strong knowledge of UCD methodologies</li><li>Experience working on large transformational pieces of work</li><li>Familiarity with accessible design standards</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Manage a team of 8 User Centered Design professionals</li><li>Take charge of the Design Strategy for a core business service</li><li>Ensure design work meets accessibility and Gov Digital Design Standards</li><li>Champion awareness of UCD across the organisation</li><li>Ensure clear direction and strategy for the UCD design community</li><li>Manage the design service, ensuring efficient allocation of resources</li><li>Effectively manage stakeholder relationships</li></ul>
