Service Designer (SC Cleared)
<p><b>Salary: £108,000 - 108,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Strong background in Service Design within UK Public Sector environments</li><li>Proven experience delivering in multidisciplinary agile teams</li><li>Hands-on experience producing service blueprints, journey maps, systems maps, and conceptual models</li><li>Excellent knowledge of GDS frameworks, service standards, and accessibility principles (WCAG)</li><li>Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate them clearly</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills</li><li>Experience supporting discoveries, alphas, and betas</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Lead end-to-end service design across complex digital and non-digital journeys</li><li>Work closely with Product, UCD, Policy, BA, and Technical teams to map current and future state services</li><li>Create service blueprints, user journey maps, process flows, and supporting artefacts</li><li>Identify pain points, gaps, and opportunities for service improvement</li><li>Champion user-centred design and ensure services meet GDS standards and accessibility requirements</li><li>Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews</li><li>Support user research activities and translate insights into actionable service design</li><li>Contribute to strategic decision-making by providing evidence-based recommendations</li><li>Ensure solutions align with organisational goals, technical constraints, and policy requirements</li></ul>

<p>We are looking for an experienced Service Designer to join a major public-sector transformation programme with an immediate start. This remote role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and improve end-to-end services that meet user needs, align with government standards, and deliver measurable outcomes.
