Solutions Architect
<p><b>Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or similar role</li><li>Strong background in data centre environments, colocation, and hosting services</li><li>Experience with enterprise networking, virtualization, compute platforms, storage technologies, cloud platforms, and hybrid architectures</li><li>Understanding of security architectures and compliance frameworks</li><li>Desirable experience with regulated-sector solutions</li><li>Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency in data centres</li><li>Experience with edge computing and multi-cloud architectures</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Design end-to-end infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions using Datavitas data centre, connectivity, and partner ecosystems</li><li>Produce high-level and detailed technical architectures, including network, compute, storage, security, and DR/BC</li><li>Ensure solutions meet performance, availability, compliance, and security requirements</li><li>Validate designs against operational, financial, and regulatory constraints</li><li>Act as the technical authority during customer engagements and projects</li><li>Work with sales and account teams to understand business and technical requirements</li><li>Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, and design reviews</li><li>Present solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Support project and operations teams during solution implementation</li><li>Provide technical governance throughout the delivery lifecycle</li><li>Assist with troubleshooting and optimization of deployed solutions</li><li>Ensure smooth handover to support and operations teams</li><li>Ensure architectures align with industry best practices and Datavita standards</li><li>Support compliance with ISO, GDPR, and other relevant regulatory frameworks</li><li>Embed security-by-design principles into all solutions</li><li>Contribute to risk assessments and resilience planning</li></ul>
