Software Engineer (Numerical Modelling, AI/ML)

<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>A Masters or PhD Degree in Computing or STEM disciplines</li><li>Proven experience working at the interface of research and software development</li><li>Experience with one or more compiled systems languages (C++, C#) or at least one high-level scientific language (e.g., Python, Julia)</li><li>Experience with scientific computing, numerical methods, or computational modelling</li><li>Familiarity with machine learning, optimization, control, probabilistic modelling, or related fields</li><li>Knowledge of digital twins, agentic systems, reinforcement learning or advanced optimisation is desirable</li><li></li></ul>

<ul><li>Join the Innovation Team to work on a suite of internal products</li><li>Drive early stage technical innovation by researching and prototyping new modelling, optimisation, AI, and simulation methods</li><li>Design algorithms and numerical techniques for complex scientific or engineering challenges</li><li>Develop software across languages such as Python for research and C++ or C# for production</li><li>Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to translate concepts into practical tools</li><li>Define good technical practices and ensure strong code quality through testing and documentation</li><li>Take ownership of technical workstreams from initial concept through to integration</li><li></li></ul>
